What kind of survey is it?

There are four separate Business Surveys to collect information from enterprises in four sectors: construction, industry, trade, and services. The surveys are used to monitor developments in the business activities of the relevant enterprises, and the underlying factors. The collected data help to assess economic trends at the country, European Union (EU) and euro-area level.

A confidence indicator is produced for each surveyed sector, and the overall Economic Sentiment Indicator is calculated based on these. The survey also provides early and relevant information

Labour Force Survey

What kind of survey is it? The Labour Force Survey assesses the labour market situation in Estonia and provides an overview of the economic activity, employment, and working conditions of the Estonian population. This is the oldest and the largest full-year personal survey in Estonia. Who commissions the survey? Statistics Estonia has been administering the Estonian Labour Force Survey since 1995. New self-service environment

eSTAT is replaced by a new self-service environment Starting from 2025, data can be submitted to Statistics Estonia in the new self-service environment at uuringud.stat.ee . To make data submission as easy and convenient as possible, all questionnaires will be updated in the new environment. Currently, only some of the questionnaires have been updated, however, the goal is to update all enterprise questionnaires by the end of 2026.
