The personal questionnaires of the 2011 Population and Housing Census have now been completed on more than one million permanent residents of Estonia. In the first week of the interview census, enumerators interviewed more than 100,000 people.

Tomorrow, on 5 March starts the second phase of the pilot Census of 2011 Population and Housing Census (PHC 2011), in the course of which the enumerators of Statistics Estonia will visit those people living in the pilot Census areas who did not participate in e-census.

According to Statistics Estonia, today the Government of the Republic approved the list of official statistical surveys for the year 2010.
