The average working week of men is three hours longer than that of women. A half of males employed and a third of females employed work overtime. This has been proved in Statistics Estonia’s publication “Time Use of the Population of Estonia” published today.

According to preliminary data of Statistics Estonia, in 2009, 4,647 persons emigrated from Estonia and 3,643 persons immigrated into Estonia. Since the restoration of independence emigration has exceeded immigration in Estonia.

According to Statistics Estonia, in the 1st quarter of 2012 compared to the same quarter of the previous year, the total production of Estonian construction enterprises in Estonia and foreign countries grew 28%, of which 29% on domestic market.

According to Statistics Estonia, in May 2020, compared to May 2019, the exports of goods decreased by 25% and imports by 24%. Compared to April 2020, exports decreased by 2% and imports remained at the same level.
