According to Statistics Estonia, in August 2021, the turnover of retail trade enterprises was 762 million euros. Compared to August 2020, turnover increased by 9% at constant prices.
During the first days of June, Statistics Estonia tested readiness to conduct an online survey of the Population and Housing Census in a new survey application. According to the census project manager Liina Osila, the testing was successful and Statistics Estonia is technologically ready for the census.
In November 2020, the producer price index of industrial output, which expresses changes in the producer prices of industrial goods manufactured in Estonia for the domestic market and for exports, increased by 1.0% compared to October and decreased by 0.9% compared to November 2019.

According to Statistics Estonia, during the nine months of this year, 1.9 million foreign and domestic tourists stayed in the accommodation establishments of Estonia, which was 11% more than at the same time of 2009. 13% more foreign tourists and 8% more domestic tourists stayed in accommodation establishments.
According to Statistics Estonia, in the second quarter of 2021, the total production value of Estonian construction enterprises in Estonia and abroad increased by 17% year on year. Considering only the Estonian construction market, the growth in construction volume was 18%.
Commissioned by the Government of Estonia, Statistics Estonia, together with Telia, Tele2 and Elisa, are conducting mobility analysis based on anonymous data of the mobile networks. The first results show that the mobility of people has decreased as a result of the stricter restrictions introduced on 11 March and resembles that of the emergency situation period of last year.
