Of the databases of Statistics Estonia, API functionality was up to now offered by the one at andmebaas.stat.ee. Now, API functionality has been added to the database on PxWeb platform, available at andmed.stat.ee/en/stat. All of those who used an API to access andmebaas.stat.ee should make the change to the PxWeb API.

According to Statistics Estonia, in 2018, the share of internet users among 16–74-year-olds reached 89%, which is 1 percentage point more than a year ago. 86% of Estonian people are willing to review and update their personal information in the population register and in the register of buildings before the population census begins at the end of this year. Still, only 16% of the population, on average, have logged into these registers over the last year, as revealed by the survey carried out by Kantar Emor.
