According to Statistics Estonia, the Dwelling Price Index increased by 5.9% in 2018 compared to the average of 2017. Year-on-year, the prices of apartments increased by 6.4% and the prices of houses by 4.7%.
The number of job vacancies remains over 10,000

According to Statistics Estonia, in the 3rd quarter of 2019, there were 11,892 job vacancies in the enterprises, institutions and organisations of Estonia. The number of job vacancies has remained above 10,000 since the 1st quarter of 2017.

Data-based reporting for reducing administrative burden The project Data-based reporting developed from the Zero Bureaucracy initiative. It provides a solution for the automatic exchange of data required by the state, based on the principles of simplicity and minimum burden. According to Statistics Estonia, in April 2020, the production of industrial enterprises decreased by 17% compared to April 2019. Production decreased in all three industrial activities: manufacturing, energy production and mining.

According to Statistics Estonia, 34 full-length films were produced in Estonia in 2018, of which 22 were distributed in cinemas in the same year. Cinema attendance set a new record – 3.6 million visits, i.e. 275 visits per 100 inhabitants.

According to Statistics Estonia, in 2018, 65% of the Estonian gross value added was created in Harju county, but the rest of the country is slowly catching up with Harju county.

According to Statistics Estonia, in February 2024, exports of goods decreased by 15% and imports by 10% compared with February 2023. Exports of goods amounted to about 1.3 billion and imports to 1.5 billion euros at current prices. The trade deficit was 202 million euros, which is 67 million euros more than in February last year.
