The methodological changes introduced in January concern food products and electricity. “Good cooperation with electricity providers and retail chains now allows us to calculate the consumer price index in Estonia more accurately than ever before. 3. eSTAT is replaced by a new self-service environment
Statistics Estonia highly values the contribution Estonian people and enterprises make to the production of official statistics. This will enable the creation of essential knowledge about indicators that are important for the country, ranging from GDP to the at-risk-of-poverty rate. We therefore hope that the new self-service environment will make data submission faster and more convenient. The self-service environment offers users of Statistics Estonia's e-services a number of new options that were not available in eSTAT. More user-friendly features will be added over time.
