Statistics Estonia is making preparations for Population and Housing Census 2021. In contrast to previous censuses, this time the majority of the required data will be obtained from state databases. People will answer only to the questions for which there are no data available in any of the databases.

According to Statistics Estonia, the gross domestic product (GDP) of Estonia grew by 3.6% in the first quarter of 2018, compared to the same period of the previous year.

By today, January 6, approximately 150,000 people have submitted answers to the Population and Housing Census e-questionnaire. Women have been considerably more active in filling in the questionnaire than men. The short questionnaire can be answered until January 22.
