Statistics Estonia’s wages and salaries application now includes wages data for the first quarter of 2020. Also, median wages for 11 more groups of occupations were added.

According to Statistics Estonia, in the 2nd quarter of 2017, the unemployment rate was 7%, the employment rate 66.9% and the labour force participation rate 72%. According to Statistics Estonia, in 2022, life expectancy at birth was 78.1 years in Estonia. Male life expectancy was 73.6 years and female life expectancy was 82.3 years. Men live disability-free for 57.9 years and women for 60.6 years.

In the second quarter of 2022, Estonian residents travelled much more than in the second quarter of last year: the number of domestic trips grew by 45% and the number of outbound trips by 319%, that is, over three times.
