As of today, 1 July, a public choice competition is open, determining who will represent Estonia in the younger age group at the European Statistics Competition. The competition was interrupted during the emergency situation but is now continued.

The Council was briefed on the methodology approved by Statistics Estonia for the Population and Housing Census: namely, a register-based census, which is in accordance with EU regulations, combined with a sample survey to collect data on characteristics not covered by registers.

According to Statistics Estonia, in September 2019, compared to September 2018, the exports of goods decreased by 3% and imports increased by 3%. In the third quarter, exports decreased by 2%, having increased in the first two quarters.

According to the preliminary data of Statistics Estonia, in April 2010 compared to April of the previous year, exports of goods grew by 35% and imports by 16% at current prices. The growth in exports was last registered as big in June 2006.
