The share of goods of Estonian origin in total exports was also up from October last year, accounting for 66% in October 2024. According to Statistics Estonia, in February 2024, exports of goods decreased by 15% and imports by 10% compared with February 2023. Exports of goods amounted to about 1.3 billion and imports to 1.5 billion euros at current prices. The trade deficit was 202 million euros, which is 67 million euros more than in February last year.

According to Statistics Estonia, in 2012, the number of passengers served by the Estonian transport enterprises and passenger turnover increased 17% and 7%, respectively. The freight capacity decreased nearly 4% in tonnes as well as in tonne-kilometres.

In 2023, the number of outbound and domestic trips increased respectively by 40% and 20% compared with the year before. The main destinations of choice were Finland, Latvia, Italy and Turkey.

Exports of goods amounted to over €1.3 billion and imports to nearly €1.7 billion at current prices. The trade deficit was €321 million, which is €59 million less than in July last year.
