According to Statistics Estonia, in June, the consumer price index increased by 2.7% compared to May, and by 21.9% compared to June 2021. Goods were 17.9% and services 29.7% more expensive than in June last year.

A total of 737,873 dwellings were counted in the 2021 Population and Housing Census, based on registers. Compared to the 2011 census, 47,793 new dwellings have been built, which is 1000 fewer than in the previous ten years (2001–2011). The trade deficit in November was 200 million euros, which is 198 million euros less than a year earlier.

According to Statistics Estonia, in 2018, the expenditure on research and development (R&D) in Estonia amounted to 365.6 million euros, which is a fifth more than in 2017.

According to Statistics Estonia and Eesti Pank, in the first quarter of 2023, Estonia’s exports of services grew by 15% and imports by 11% at current prices compared with the first quarter of 2022.
