Since the first quarter of 2023, Statistics Estonia uses the data from the employment register of the Tax and Customs Board and the income and social tax declarations to publish the average wages and salaries. People working under employment contracts, the Civil Service Act*, and service contracts are included.

The number of short films (less than 60 minutes in length) produced last year was 132, including 62 documentaries, 44 feature films and 26 animations. Cinema attendance totalled nearly 3.7 million.

According to Statistics Estonia, in 2010 the gross domestic product (GDP) increased by 3.1% compared to the previous year. The GDP began to grow compared to the previous year gradually since the 2nd quarter and in the 4th quarter the GDP increased by 6.7% according to the first estimates.
