According to Statistics Estonia, in the first quarter of 2022, there were 13,076 job vacancies in the enterprises, institutions and organisations of Estonia. This is 38% more than in the same quarter of 2021. More than 4,000 persons left their jobs on the employer’s initiative.

“In 1994, the life expectancy of Estonian residents was 66.5 years, whereas by 2024 it had increased by 13 years and reached 79.5 years. According to the preliminary data of Statistics Estonia, in the fourth quarter of 2022, the gross domestic product (GDP), which shows how the Estonian economy is doing, declined by 4.1% compared with the same period of 2021. The GDP at current prices was 10 billion euros.
