According to Statistics Estonia, Estonian resident consumes 188 grams of potatoes a day, Latvian and Lithuanian residents 274 and 234 grams, respectively. The data are based on the European food consumption database DAFNE (Data Food Networking), which since autumn 2010 also contains data on Estonia.
The share of the service sector in counties has grown

According to Statistics Estonia, differences in the economic structures of counties have increased, while the majority of the value added generated in the Estonian economy was still created in Harju County. 69% of the gross value added in Estonia was created in the service sector, the share of which has increased in seven counties in the last four years.

According to the first estimates of Statistics Estonia, the gross domestic product (GDP) of Estonia decreased by 2.0% in the 1st quarter of 2010 compared to the same quarter in the previous year.
In September foreign trade continued to decrease

According to Statistics Estonia, in September 2015, exports of goods decreased by 10% and imports by 9% compared to September of the previous year. Summing up the first three quarters of 2015, exports decreased 3% and imports 5% compared to the same period a year ago.
Production of cereals increased year on year

The total area of utilised agricultural land did not change considerably in 2017. Production of field crops was higher than in the previous year, but a lot of production was not harvested. The number of pigs increased and the number of cattle also increased slightly. Less meat but more milk and eggs were produced than in the previous year.
In June exports of goods declined

According to Statistics Estonia, in June 2013, exports of goods decreased by 5% at current prices while imports remained at the same level compared to June of the previous year. Exports declined to three main partner countries.
