Helga Laurmaa, leading analyst at Statistics Estonia, said that the number of accommodated tourists was still 6% lower than in September 2019. In the second quarter of 2022, Estonian residents travelled much more than in the second quarter of last year: the number of domestic trips grew by 45% and the number of outbound trips by 319%, that is, over three times.

According to Statistics Estonia, in the 2nd quarter of 2019, enterprises sold goods and services for 16.2 billion euros, which was 6% more than in the same period the year before.
