According to Statistics Estonia, in July 357,000 tourists stayed in accommodation establishments of Estonia, which was 11% more than at the same time in the previous year.
According to Statistics Estonia, about 16,000 more domestic tourists and 77,000 more foreign tourists used the services of accommodation establishments in the first half of the year compared to the same period a year ago.
According to Statistics Estonia, the pilot Census of the 2011 Population and Housing Census (REL 2011) will take place in nine local governments of Estonia from 31 December until 31 March. The organisation, methodology and information system of the Census will be tested. For the first time the opportunity for electronic enumeration on the Internet is provided.

According to Statistics Estonia, in January 2012 compared to December 2011, the change of the consumer price index was 0.7% and compared to January of the previous year 4.5%.
According to Statistics Estonia, in 2010, the average monthly gross wages and salaries were 792 euros (12,397 kroons) and the hourly gross wages and salaries were 4.78 euros (74.84 kroons). Compared to 2009, the average monthly gross wages and salaries were by 1.1% higher and the average hourly gross wages and salaries were by 0.4% lower.
According to Statistics Estonia, in April, exports of goods increased by 54% and imports by 51% year on year. The trade growth was influenced by last year’s low reference base as well as by the increase in exports and imports of mineral products, electrical equipment and transport equipment.
According to Statistics Estonia, in February 2017, domestic and foreign tourists who stayed in Estonian accommodation establishments numbered 207,000, which was 13% more than in February 2016.
