According to Statistics Estonia, in 2011, the number of passengers carried by Estonian transport enterprises continued to decrease for the fifth year in succession. The decline in the number of passengers carried was influenced the most by reduction of passengers in urban transport. Transport enterprises carried more goods compared to the previous year.

According to Statistics Estonia, in the 2nd quarter of 2010, the estimated number of unemployed persons was 128,000 and the unemployment rate 18.6%. Unemployment decreased for the first time after a continuous growth of nearly two years.
The consumption expenditure of households increased last year

According to Statistics Estonia, in 2016, the exports and imports of goods increased by 3% each compared to 2015. The last time trade grew in comparison of years was in 2012.
In August, the increase in industrial production continued

According to Statistics Estonia, in August 2014, the production of industrial enterprises rose 3% compared to August of the previous year. The production increased in manufacturing, while in mining and energy the production decreased.

According to Statistics Estonia, in August 2010 the production of industrial enterprises grew 23% compared to August of the previous year. This year the growth of production has mainly influenced by the increase in external demand, since domestic market has slightly livened up only during the last months.
