In March 2014, the Member States of the European Union will finalise the 2010/2011 census round of the Population and Housing Census and submit the final report of the census to Eurostat.
According to Statistics Estonia, in the 1st quarter of 2010, the average monthly gross wages and salaries were 11,865 kroons and the hourly gross wages and salaries were 74.46 kroons. Compared to the 1st quarter of 2009, the average monthly gross wages and salaries were by 2.3% lower and the average hourly gross wages and salaries were by 2.7% lower.

According to Statistics Estonia, in October 2011, the production of industrial enterprises grew 2% compared to the same month of the previous year. The annual growth of industrial production was smaller than in the previous month. The slowdown of the growth was most of all influenced by the production of electronic products and energy.
