What kind of survey is it? The Labour Force Survey assesses the labour market situation in Estonia and provides an overview of the economic activity, employment, and working conditions of the Estonian population. According to Statistics Estonia, 1.25 million tourists stayed in accommodation establishments in the three summer months – June, July, August – of 2023, up by 1% from a year earlier but down by 12% from the summer of 2019. Compared with last summer, there were more foreign and fewer domestic tourists in accommodation establishments.

According to Statistics Estonia, in December 2009 compared to December of the previous year the retail sales of goods of retail trade enterprises decreased 15% at constant prices. The decline in retail sales which had stood within the limits of 17% during the previous months slowed down to some extent in December.

According to Statistics Estonia, in September 2013 compared to September of the previous year, the retail sales of goods of retail trade enterprises increased 5% at constant prices. The retail sales have shown a stable five-percent growth for the third month in succession compared to the same month of the previous year.

According to Statistics Estonia, in November 2021, Estonia’s rapid trade growth continued. Exports of goods increased by 30% and imports by 36% year on year. Growth was highest in trade with the European Union Member States and primarily with the neighbouring countries.

According to Statistics Estonia, in the 1st quarter of 2015, the average monthly gross wages and salaries were 1,010 euros. Compared to the 1st quarter of 2014, the average monthly gross wages and salaries increased by 4.5%.
