According to Statistics Estonia, in November 2020, the turnover of retail trade enterprises was 655 million euros. Compared to November 2019, turnover increased by 6% at constant prices.
According to Statistics Estonia, in the 2nd quarter of 2020, the gross domestic product (GDP) fell by 6.9% compared to the 2nd quarter of 2019. The GDP at current prices was 6.4 billion euros.
Statistics Estonia concluded agreements with Telia, Tele2 and Elisa to restart mobility analysis. The goal of the planned mobility analysis is to help the government evaluate the impact of the adopted COVID-19 countermeasures on the movement of people, assess change in the risk of infection and effectively plan communication in Estonian regions. According to Statistics Estonia, in August, 331,000 tourists stayed in Estonian accommodation establishments. Their total number of nights spent was 591,000. Compared to August 2019, the number of tourists dropped by a third.
