According to Statistics Estonia, in 2019, the average monthly gross income per employee was 1,317 euros, which is 83 euros more than in 2018. The monthly gross income increased by 6.7% year on year.
In order to increase the security of access to the research work environment, Statistics Estonia will make the identification of researchers working remotely with data ID-card based. From 8 January 2023, it will no longer be possible to access the research work environment with a password only.
According to Statistics Estonia, in 2016, the average monthly gross income per employee was 1,073 euros. The growth of gross income continued at the same rate as in previous years (6%), however, the number of people receiving income started to decrease for the first time since the years of the economic crisis.

According to Statistics Estonia, yesterday, on 15 November, the Agricultural Census conducted for the sixth time in Estonia came to an end. In the course of the Census, data on agricultural activity were collected from nearly 30,000 holdings. Statistics Estonia will release preliminary results of the Census in December.
