Compared with November last year, the HICP rose by 4.7%. This is a flash estimate, which will be refined once more detailed data on November prices are received.

According to Statistics Estonia, in the 1st quarter of 2011, seven out of ten households in Estonia had Internet connection at home, most of them broadband connection. The percentage of households with Internet connection has slightly increased every year during the last five years.

According to Statistics Estonia, in 2010, the production of electricity of Estonian power stations totalled nearly 13,000 gigawatt-hours, which is about a half more than a year earlier. The production of other types of fuels also increased.

According to Statistics Estonia, in July 2011, exports from Estonia amounted to 933 million euros and imports to Estonia to 1 billion euros at current prices. In July 2011, the share of machinery and equipment comprised 32% of Estonia’s total exports and 31% of imports.

According to the second estimates of Statistics Estonia, the gross domestic product (GDP) of Estonia increased by 8.4% in the 2nd quarter of 2011 compared to the same quarter of the previous year.
