HICP flash estimate: prices down by 0.5% in November
According to the preliminary estimate of Statistics Estonia, in November 2025, the harmonised index of consumer prices (HICP), which includes the expenditures of tourists, decreased by 0.5% compared with October. Compared with November last year, the HICP rose by 4.7%. This is a flash estimate, which will be refined once more detailed data on November prices are received.

Statistics Estonia: Enumerators will start visiting people from 16 February
The enumerators will visit people in the Population and Housing Census starting at the end of the year only during the period 16.02 – 31.03.2012 and present their employment certificate with a photo issued by Statistics Estonia. Summer was successful for accommodation establishments
According to Statistics Estonia, during the three summer months of 2011, for the first time more than one million foreign and domestic tourists stayed in accommodation establishments of Estonia. Compared to the previous summer, 14% more tourists used the services of accommodation establishments.

In August the growth rate of exports and imports accelerated
According to Statistics Estonia, in August 2011, exports from Estonia amounted to 1.0 billion euros and imports to Estonia to 1.1 billion euros at current prices. If in July the annual growth of exports and imports was by 34% and 38%, respectively, then in August exports grew by 45% and imports by 42%.

According to Statistics Estonia, the change of the consumer price index was 0.5% in September 2011 compared to August and 5.2% compared to September of the previous year.

Stable growth in retail sales continued also in August
According to Statistics Estonia, in August 2011 compared to August of the previous year, the retail sales of goods of retail trade enterprises increased 4% at constant prices. During the last seven months, retail sales were showing a stable growth in comparison with the same month of the previous year.

According to Statistics Estonia, in August 2011, the production of industrial enterprises grew 23% compared to the same month of the previous year. The growth in production was most of all influenced by the manufacturing of electronic products.

According to Statistics Estonia,by 15 September, 96% of the sown area of cereals, 75% of the sown area of rape and turnip rape, and 49% of the area under potatoes had been harvested in Estonia.
