In July, stable turnover growth of retail trade enterprises continued

According to Statistics Estonia, in July 2017, compared to July of the previous year, the turnover of retail trade enterprises increased 1% at constant prices. While in June turnover growth accelerated to 4% compared to the same month of the previous year, in July growth decelerated and sales continued to grow at one percent similarly to April and May.

Information from state registers as well as a questionnaire will be used for the population census

Today, a team from Statistics Estonia met with the census committee of the Estonian Government to present the questionnaire of the Population and Housing Census 2021 and discuss the current state of the project. The exact census methodology will be decided once the allocation of additional funds from the government reserves for 2021 and from the 2022 state budget has been confirmed.

According to Statistics Estonia, in January, Estonian accommodation establishments served 96,000 tourists who spent 184,000 nights in total. Compared to January 2020, the number of visitors fell by 57%.

What kind of survey is it? The crop farming survey provides data about areas under cultivation and harvested areas of agricultural crops, production and yield, fertilisers, organic farming, liming, seed use, and autumn sowings of winter crops.
