According to Statistics Estonia, in February 2020, compared to February 2019, the exports of goods decreased by 6% and imports by 2%. Both exports and imports declined the most in respect of countries outside the European Union.

According to Statistics Estonia, in May 2024, Estonia’s exports of goods decreased by 6% and imports by 13% compared with May 2023. Exports of goods amounted to nearly €1.6 billion and imports to almost €1.7 billion at current prices. The trade deficit was €144 million, which is €170 million less than in May last year.

According to Statistics Estonia, in May 2020, compared to May 2019, the exports of goods decreased by 25% and imports by 24%. Compared to April 2020, exports decreased by 2% and imports remained at the same level.

Based on the results of the public choice competition, in the younger age group, Estonia will be represented at the European Statistics Competition by team Fresiito from Tallinn Secondary School of Science and team Mamika from Lüganuse School. According to Statistics Estonia, in June 2020, compared to June 2019, the exports of goods remained at the same level and imports decreased by 8%. In the second quarter of 2020, exports decreased by 15% and imports by 18% year on year.
