Robert Müürsepp, team lead of national accounts at Statistics Estonia, noted that initial signs indicate a slight improvement in the economy compared with both a year ago and the previous quarter. “The seasonally and working-day adjusted GDP was up by 0.2% from the second quarter of 2025,” Müürsepp added. What is a flash estimate of GDP? The official data on GDP for the third quarter will be published on 1 December, but based on the information already available, it is possible to assess the overall economic trend. This is done using, for example, trade indicators, transport and manufacturing

According to Statistics Estonia, in May 2013 compared to May of the previous year, the retail sales of goods of retail trade enterprises increased 7% at constant prices. In April the retail sales increased 5% compared to the same month of the previous year, while in May the retail sales growth accelerated to some extent.

According to Statistics Estonia, in October 2016, the exports of goods increased by 2% and imports by 3% compared to October of the previous year. Compared to October 2015, the exports of goods of Estonian origin increased by 3% and re-exports, i.e. the exportation of goods imported from a foreign country, stayed at the same level.
