According to Statistics Estonia, by flash estimations, the gross domestic product (GDP) decreased by 9.4% in Estonia in the 4th quarter of 2008 compared to the same quarter in the previous year.

According to Statistics Estonia, in June 2024, Estonia’s exports of goods decreased by 14% and imports by 11% compared with June 2023. Exports of goods amounted to nearly 1.4 billion and imports to more than 1.6 billion euros at current prices. The trade deficit was 268 million euros, which is 20 million more than in June last year.

According to Statistics Estonia, in June 2018, the exports of goods increased by 17% and imports by 18% compared to June 2017. The growth in trade was affected the most by increased trade in mineral products. In the first half-year, compared to the same period of the previous year, the exports of goods increased by 10% and imports by 8%.

Average monthly gross wages and salaries grew and irregular bonuses increased in the 1st quarter

According to Statistics Estonia, in the 1st quarter of 2011, the average monthly gross wages and salaries were 792 euros (12,397 kroons) and the hourly gross wages and salaries were 4.87 euros (76.20 kroons). Compared to the 1st quarter of 2010, the average monthly gross wages and salaries were by 4.5% higher and the average hourly gross wages and salaries were by 2.3% higher.
