Todays Eesti Päevaleht states mistakenly that Statistics Estonia wants the enterprises to submit their annual reports during two months instead of six months, which was the deadline up to now. In reality the proposal was to shorten the deadline by a couple of months – annual reports subject to auditing would be submitted during four months and reports not subject to auditing during three months after the end of the financial year.

Eveli Šokman, the producer price statistics service manager at Statistics Estonia, said that, year on year, the producer price index declined in December after three months of trending upwards. “Compared with December 2024, the index was affected the most by falling prices in the manufacture of fuel oils and in electricity and heat energy production.
