According to Statistics Estonia, in May 2021, the turnover of retail trade enterprises was 778 million euros. Compared to May 2020, turnover increased by 18% at constant prices.
According to Statistics Estonia, 27,989 women and 3,920 men received parental benefit in Estonia in 2019. The average monthly parental benefit paid to men was a third higher than that paid to women.
According to the preliminary data of Statistics Estonia, 847,800 tonnes of milk and 79,900 tonnes of meat were produced in 2020. This is, respectively, 3% and 5% more than the year before. The utilised agricultural area without kitchen gardens increased by 3,000 hectares and totalled 983,000 hectares.

The rise in exports was affected the most by an increase in the exportation of mineral products, and the rise in imports by non-recurring big-volume transactions with transport equipment.
Museums continue to be popular in Estonia. According to Statistics Estonia, there were 3.5 million museum visits in 2016, which is 6% more than the year before.
According to Statistics Estonia, 223,000 tourists stayed in Estonian accommodation establishments in January. Their total number of nights spent was 411,000. 58% of the tourists were foreign tourists and 42% were domestic tourists.
According to Statistics Estonia, in August, the turnover of retail trade enterprises was 651 million euros, having increased by 4% at constant prices compared to August 2018.
