According to Statistics Estonia, in 2017, the gross domestic product (GDP) of Estonia increased 4.9% compared to 2016. In the 4th quarter of 2017, the Estonian economy grew by 5.0% compared to the 4th quarter of 2016.
According to Statistics Estonia, in the 2nd quarter of 2015, the total profit of the business sector was 724 million euros, which was 15% less than in the same period a year ago.
According to Statistics Estonia, in August, the producer price index of industrial output increased by 1.1% compared to July 2020 and decreased by 2.2% compared to August 2019.
In January 2021, the producer price index of industrial output, which expresses changes in the producer prices of industrial goods manufactured in Estonia for the domestic market and for exports, increased by 0.8% compared to December 2020 and by 2.3% compared to January 2020.
According to Statistics Estonia, in November 2021, Estonia’s rapid trade growth continued. Exports of goods increased by 30% and imports by 36% year on year. Growth was highest in trade with the European Union Member States and primarily with the neighbouring countries.
According to Statistics Estonia, in June 2020, the production of industrial enterprises decreased by 6% compared to June 2019. Production decreased in manufacturing and mining, while energy production increased owing to last year’s low comparison basis.
