Helga Laurmaa, leading analyst at Statistics Estonia, said that 108,000 foreign and 109,000 domestic tourists were accommodated in Estonia in March 2025. “The number of foreign tourists was 7% lower than in March last year and it was also smaller compared with March 2019 (down by 13%),” explained Laurmaa. According to Statistics Estonia, in May 2024, the total production of industrial enterprises fell by 1.2% compared with May last year. Among the three industrial sectors, output increased by 2.1% in electricity production but decreased by 0.7% in mining and by 1.4% in manufacturing.
