According to Statistics Estonia, during the last decade on an average four full-length feature films per year were made in Estonia, but in 2009 the corresponding number was seven. This is also the record after the restoration of independence in Estonia.

The places where people live have been recorded in one way or another for centuries. Previously, the place of registration could have been a church, municipality government, city address board, housing board or the Population Register. According to Statistics Estonia, in November 2017, compared to November 2016, the turnover of retail trade enterprises decreased 1% at constant prices. The decrease in turnover was affected the most by enterprises engaged in the retail sales of automotive fuel.
