According to Statistics Estonia, 37,000 tourists stayed in Estonian accommodation establishments in May 2020. Their total number of nights spent was 83,000. The number of tourists decreased by 88% year on year.
In the first week of December, Statistics Estonia launched the Time Use Survey. The survey takes place every ten years and will end in 2021. Information is collected about how and where people over the age of 10 spend their time and what modes of transport they use.
According to Statistics Estonia, in February 2021, the total production of industrial enterprises decreased by 9% year on year. Production increased only in the energy sector, by 36%, but decreased in manufacturing by 10% and in mining by 33%.

The decline in the number of passengers carried was influenced the most by reduction of passengers in urban transport. Transport enterprises carried more goods compared to the previous year.
According to Statistics Estonia, 13,000 tourists stayed in Estonian accommodation establishments in April. Their total number of nights spent was 43,000. The number of tourists decreased by 95% year on year.
According to Statistics Estonia, in November 2021, Estonian accommodation establishments served over 167,000 tourists, which is 42% more than in November 2020. The number of domestic tourists decreased, while the number of foreign tourists increased.
According to Statistics Estonia, in September, the production of industrial enterprises decreased by 2% compared to September 2019. In the three main industrial sectors, the fall in production was 2% in manufacturing, 5% in energy production and 8% in mining.
According to Statistics Estonia, in August 2021, the total production of industrial enterprises increased by 4% year on year. Production increased by 9% in manufacturing, but decreased by 28% in mining and by 16% in energy production.
According to Statistics Estonia, in February, Estonian accommodation establishments served nearly 100,000 tourists who spent 187,000 nights in total. The number of visitors dropped by 57% compared to February 2020.
