According to Statistics Estonia, in April, Estonian accommodation establishments served 59,000 tourists, which is over three times more than in April last year. The numbers of foreign and domestic tourists both increased.

According to Statistics Estonia, in July 2021, Estonian accommodation establishments served 381,000 tourists, which is a tenth more than in the same month last year. The number of domestic tourists increased compared to both July 2020 and July 2019, while the number of foreign tourists remained significantly smaller than in previous years.

According to Statistics Estonia, in March 2021, the total production of industrial enterprises increased by 2% year on year. Production increased by 9% in the energy sector and by 2% in manufacturing, but decreased in mining by 26%.

According to Statistics Estonia, 158,000 tourists stayed in Estonian accommodation establishments in October, with 284,000 nights spent in total. There was a 45% decrease in the number of visitors compared to October 2019.

According to Statistics Estonia, in 2012, the number of passengers served by the Estonian transport enterprises and passenger turnover increased 17% and 7%, respectively. The freight capacity decreased nearly 4% in tonnes as well as in tonne-kilometres.

According to Statistics Estonia, in September 2021, Estonian accommodation establishments served over 214,000 tourists, which is 40% more than in the same month last year. The numbers of domestic tourists and foreign tourists both increased.

29% of people in Estonia are estimated to be affiliated with a religion. This figure has remained unchanged over the last three population censuses. However, the proportion of people who do not feel an affiliation to any religion has increased – from 54% in 2011 to 58% in 2021. The most prevalent religion in Estonia is Orthodox Christianity.
The volume of industrial production decreased by 5% last year

According to Statistics Estonia, the total production of industrial enterprises in 2020 was 5% smaller than the year before. Production decreased in all three main industrial sectors: by 19% in energy production, by 13% in mining and by 4% in manufacturing.
