The decline on construction market, which had lasted for two and half years compared to the same quarter of the previous year turned to a rise again in the 3rd quarter this year.

According to Statistics Estonia, in the 1st quarter of 2012 compared to the same quarter of the previous year, the total production of Estonian construction enterprises in Estonia and foreign countries grew 28%, of which 29% on domestic market.

According to preliminary data of Statistics Estonia, in 2009 the total production of Estonian construction enterprises in Estonia and in foreign countries amounted to 23.5 billion kroons, which is 28% less than a year earlier. The construction volumes which had started to decline in 2008 kept decreasing last year, too.
