According to Statistics Estonia, in October 2010 compared to October 2009, exports of goods from Estonia grew by 47% and imports to Estonia by 38%. Bigger growth in exports compared to imports decreased also the trade deficit.
According to the preliminary data of Statistics Estonia, in 2009 exports of goods from Estonia amounted to 101.3 billion kroons at current prices and imports to Estonia made up 114.2 billion kroons. The foreign trade deficit amounted to 12.9 billion kroons, which was smaller last in 1995.
