According to Statistics Estonia, differences in the economic structures of counties have increased, while the majority of the value added generated in the Estonian economy was still created in Harju County. 69% of the gross value added in Estonia was created in the service sector, the share of which has increased in seven counties in the last four years.

According to Statistics Estonia, in January 2020, compared to January 2019, the exports of goods decreased by 1% and imports by 9%. While overall exports declined, there was an increase in the exports of agricultural products and food preparations, and in particular, cereals.

According to Statistics Estonia, in June 2016 compared to June 2015, the turnover of retail trade enterprises increased 4% at constant prices. While in May the turnover increased 8% compared to the same month of the previous year, in June the turnover growth decelerated.

According to Statistics Estonia, in 2016, the construction price index fell 0.8% compared with the average of 2015.

According to Statistics Estonia, in April 2018, domestic and foreign tourists staying in accommodation establishments numbered 251,000, which is 3% less than in April 2017. The number of foreign tourists decreased, while the number of domestic tourists stayed at the level of the previous year.
