According to Statistics Estonia, in June, the consumer price index increased by 0.4% compared with May and by 2.5% compared with June 2023. Goods were 1.7% and services 3.8% more expensive than in June last year.

Data from the 2021 census show that 84% of the current population lived in Estonia ten years ago as well, the proportion of people who have arrived from abroad has risen significantly, and the overall population of immigrants is increasingly international. The Population and Housing Census, which started at the end of last year, continues on a smaller scale in February. Throughout the month, enumerators are contacting the people who did not respond to the e-census but live at mandatory sample addresses.

According to Statistics Estonia, in the third quarter of 2022, the gross domestic product (GDP) fell by 2.4% year on year. The GDP at current prices was 9.3 billion euros.
