In September industrial production decreased

According to Statistics Estonia, in September 2013, the production of industrial enterprises decreased by 1% compared to September of the previous year. The decline in the production was most of all influenced by the decrease in the manufacture of electronic products.
No major changes in the labour market

According to Statistics Estonia, in 2016, the unemployment rate was 6.8%, the employment rate 65.6% and the labour force participation rate 70.4%. Within a year, 8,300 additional people entered the labour market, which mainly results from the decrease in the number of inactive persons. Compared to 2015, the number of inactive people in the labour market has decreased by 9,700 persons.
One tenth of children are living in jobless households

According to Statistics Estonia, in February 2023, Estonia’s exports of goods increased by 2% and imports decreased by 8% compared with February 2022. Exports of goods amounted to 1.5 billion and imports to 1.6 billion euros at current prices. The trade deficit was 103 million euros, down by 167 million euros year on year.

According to Statistics Estonia, in the 1st quarter of 2010, 384,000 foreign and domestic tourists stayed in accommodation establishments, which was 7% more than in the same period of the previous year.
