According to the preliminary data of Statistics Estonia, in 2016, the production of industrial enterprises rose 2% compared to the previous year. Production increased in energy and in manufacturing, but decreased in mining.
According to Statistics Estonia, in May 2016, the production of industrial enterprises decreased 2% compared to May of the previous year. Production decreased in the energy sector and in mining and quarrying, but increased in manufacturing.
According to Statistics Estonia, in 2016, the production of electricity totalled 12 terawatt-hours, which is 17% more than in the previous year. Electricity production from renewable sources decreased 6% compared to 2015.
