According to Statistics Estonia, in October 2012, 220,000 domestic and foreign tourists stayed in accommodation establishments, which was 3% more than in October of the previous year.
According to Statistics Estonia, in the 3rd quarter, compared to the 3rd quarter of the previous year, exports grew 4% and imports 6%. Compared to the 1st and 2nd quarter of 2017, trade slowed in the 3rd quarter.
According to Statistics Estonia, in May, exports of goods increased by 47% and imports by 50% year on year. Trade growth was influenced in addition to last year’s low reference base by exports and imports of mineral fuels, electrical equipment and transport equipment.
The total area of utilised agricultural land did not change considerably in 2017. Production of field crops was higher than in the previous year, but a lot of production was not harvested. The number of pigs increased and the number of cattle also increased slightly. Less meat but more milk and eggs were produced than in the previous year.
According to Statistics Estonia, in November 2012, 195,000 domestic and foreign tourists stayed in accommodation establishments. The number of domestic tourists increased by 12% and that of foreign tourists by 3% compared to November of the previous year.
According to the first estimates of Statistics Estonia, the gross domestic product (GDP) of Estonia decreased by 15.1% in the 1st quarter of 2009 compared to the same quarter in the previous year.
According to Statistics Estonia, in June 2012, exports of goods from Estonia increased by 7% at current prices and imports to Estonia by 14% compared to June of the previous year. Faster growth in imports compared to exports increased also the trade deficit.
