In May the growth of industrial production continued

According to Statistics Estonia, in May 2013, the production of industrial enterprises increased by 6% compared to May of the previous year. The growth in the production was most of all influenced by the manufacture of electronic products and production of electricity.
In the 2nd quarter unemployment decreased

According to Statistics Estonia, in the 2nd quarter of 2012, the number of unemployed persons decreased to 71,000 and the unemployment rate to 10.2%. The situation of young people on the labour market has not improved this year.
Decrease of the GDP decelerated in the 3rd quarter

According to the first estimates of Statistics Estonia, the gross domestic product (GDP) of Estonia decreased by 15.6% in the 3rd quarter of 2009 compared to the same quarter in the previous year. The GDP decreased successively for seven quarters, still the decrease decelerated in the 3rd quarter.
Exports of goods reached last year’s level

According to Statistics Estonia, in June 2020, compared to June 2019, the exports of goods remained at the same level and imports decreased by 8%. In the second quarter of 2020, exports decreased by 15% and imports by 18% year on year.

According to Statistics Estonia, the unemployment rate rose to 15.5% in the 4th quarter of 2009, the annual average unemployment rate was 13.8%. Almost one third of the unemployed have been unemployed for a year or more.
In February, exports of goods declined by 6%

According to Statistics Estonia, in February 2020, compared to February 2019, the exports of goods decreased by 6% and imports by 2%. Both exports and imports declined the most in respect of countries outside the European Union.
