According to Statistics Estonia, in May 2015, the production of industrial enterprises decreased 2% compared to May of the previous year. Production decreased in manufacturing and mining as well as in energy production.
In February, accommodation establishments still served more tourists than last year

According to Statistics Estonia, 232,000 tourists stayed in Estonian accommodation establishments in February. Their total number of nights spent was 415,000. 52% of the tourists were foreign tourists and 48% were domestic tourists.

According to Statistics Estonia, in the fourth quarter of 2020, the gross domestic product (GDP) decreased by 1.2% year on year, and the GDP at current prices was 7.3 billion euros. In 2020 as a whole, the Estonian economy shrank by 2.9%.
Statistics Estonia is conducting the most extensive relationship survey in Estonia

Today, Statistics Estonia is launching the largest and most comprehensive relationship survey in Estonia so far, titled “Safe relationships within family, at work and outside work”. The purpose of the survey is to get an overview of well-being and safety in relationships. An invitation to participate in the survey is sent by post to over 16,000 people.
Two out of five adults would have liked to study more last year

According to Statistics Estonia, an estimated 80% of the population aged 20–64 participated in adult education in the previous year*. Participation in adult education is higher among women, younger age groups, people with higher educational attainment, and native speakers of Estonian. Self-development has become considerably more popular among 50–64-year-olds. At the same time, the results indicate that two out of five adults would have liked to study more.
The turnover of retail trade enterprises grew by 4% last year

According to the preliminary data of Statistics Estonia, the total turnover of retail trade enterprises in 2020 was nearly 7.7 billion euros. Compared to 2019, turnover increased by 4% at constant prices.

According to the preliminary data of Statistics Estonia, in the fourth quarter of 2021, the gross domestic product (GDP), which shows how the Estonian economy is doing, grew by 8.6% compared to the same period of 2020. The GDP at current prices was 8.7 billion euros.
