According to preliminary data of Statistics Estonia and the Agricultural Registers and Information Board (ARIB), the utilised agricultural area this year is 983,400 hectares, which is 4,400 hectares less than in 2023. According to Statistics Estonia, in October 2016, domestic and foreign tourists who stayed in Estonian accommodation establishments numbered 267,000, which was 7% more than in October 2015.

According to the second estimates of Statistics Estonia, the gross domestic product (GDP) of Estonia increased 1.3% in the 3rd quarter of 2016 compared to the 3rd quarter of the previous year.
