The EKOMAR questionnaire has been designed to obtain more detailed data on the financial indicators of enterprises in order to assess Estonia's economic growth and prepare business overviews. The reference period for the EKOMAR questionnaire is a calendar year . In order to facilitate completion, the questionnaire is designed to be as similar as possible to the annual report. The index of industrial production covers the economic indicators of three industrial activities: mining, energy production and manufacturing. According to Statistics Estonia, in February 2022, the total production of industrial enterprises increased by 1.7% at constant prices compared to February 2021. Output increased by 4.7% in manufacturing but decreased by 11.8% in mining and by 16.6% in energy production.
