According to Statistics Estonia, in February 2013, 160,000 domestic and foreign tourists stayed in the accommodation establishments of Estonia, which was 5% more than in February 2012. The number of domestic tourists as well as foreign tourists increased.

People have more leisure time than ten years ago

People sleep on average 14 minutes longer, work 18 minutes less and dedicate 40 minutes more to spending leisure time per day than ten years ago, appeared from the Time Use Survey 2010 of Statistics Estonia. The previous survey was conducted in 2000.
In April foreign trade decreased

According to Statistics Estonia, in April 2014, exports of goods decreased by 5% and imports by 4% at current prices compared to April of the previous year. The decrease in exports was mostly influenced by a fall in the trade of electrical equipment.
Passenger traffic and shipment of goods through ports increased last year

According to Statistics Estonia, in 2017, compared to 2016, the number of international traffic passengers served by Estonian ports increased by 3%, the number of national traffic passengers increased by 7% and the freight volume of ports in tonnes increased by 3%.
Unemployment and employment both decreased in the 1st quarter

According to Statistics Estonia, unemployed persons numbered 57,000 and the unemployment rate was 8.5% in the 1st quarter of 2014. The number of both the unemployed and the employed decreased. For the first time since 2010, the number of unemployed persons decreased compared to the same quarter of the previous year.
