According to Statistics Estonia, there were 3.1 million cinema visits in Estonia in 2015, which is an all-time record since the restoration of independence. A record number of films were screened in Estonian cinemas, with the majority of the films being European ones for the first time.

According to Statistics Estonia, in June 2022, Estonia’s exports of goods increased by 26% and imports by 24% compared with June 2021. Compared with the second quarter of last year, exports grew by 21% and imports by 30%. This year, the Albert Pullerits young statistician’s grant was awarded to Papuna Gogoladze for the master’s thesis defended at the School of Economics and Business Administration of the University of Tartu. The aim of the grant is to motivate young people to apply and develop statistical methods.
