According to Statistics Estonia, 713.5 tonnes of pesticides by active substance were placed on the market in Estonia in 2023, which is a tenth less than in 2022 and less than in the four previous years as well. The majority of pesticides sold were again herbicides.
In order to prevent the spread of the coronavirus, Statistics Estonia is suspending interviewers’ home visits related to personal surveys and will collect data by phone or web interviews until the end of April.
According to Statistics Estonia, in the second quarter of 2021, the Dwelling Price Index increased by 16.1% compared to the same quarter of 2020 and by 2.6% compared to the first quarter of this year.
According to Statistics Estonia, in the 1st quarter of 2020, the Dwelling Price Index increased by 11.5% compared to the 1st quarter of 2019. The last time that the change in the index was more significant was in the 3rd quarter of 2014, when it was 13.2%.
According to Statistics Estonia, in the third quarter of 2021, the Dwelling Price Index increased by 3.4% compared to the second quarter of 2021 and by 17.3% compared to the third quarter of 2020.
According to Statistics Estonia, in 2022, the consumer price index increased by 19.4% compared with the average of 2021. Housing-related price changes had the biggest impact on the consumer price index in 2022.
According to Statistics Estonia, in 2019, the Dwelling Price Index increased by 7% compared to the average of 2018. The prices of apartments increased by 6.9% and the prices of houses by 7.3%.
According to Statistics Estonia, in the first quarter of 2021, the Dwelling Price Index increased by 6.6% compared both to the fourth and the first quarter of 2020.
