According to Statistics Estonia, leading geostatisticians are gathering today, on 5 October in Tallinn for three days in order to discuss how to connect geography and statistics.
There is not much time left until the beginning of the big Population and Housing e Census. What makes this census special is that Statistics Estonia is organising it mainly with data obtained from registers. What else should you know about the upcoming census?
According to Statistics Estonia, by flash estimations, the gross domestic product (GDP) of Estonia decreased by 15.6% in Estonia in the 1st quarter of 2009 compared to the same quarter in the previous year.

According to Statistics Estonia, in August 2010 the production of industrial enterprises grew 23% compared to August of the previous year. This year the growth of production has mainly influenced by the increase in external demand, since domestic market has slightly livened up only during the last months.
According to Statistics Estonia, in February 2017, the producer price index of industrial output changed by 0.0% compared to January and by 3.9% compared to February 2016.
According to Statistics Estonia, in January 2018, the production of industrial enterprises increased 8% compared to January 2017. Production increased in manufacturing and decreased in mining and in energy.
