According to Statistics Estonia, in the 1st quarter of 2012, the average monthly gross wages and salaries were 847 euros and increased by 6.9% compared to the 1st quarter of the previous year.
According to Statistics Estonia, in October 2009 compared to October of the previous year, the production of industrial enterprises decreased 21%. In the earlier months of this year, the decrease remained within 30% compared to the same period of the previous year.

According to Statistics Estonia, in the 1st quarter of 2014, the average monthly gross wages and salaries were 966 euros and the average hourly gross wages and salaries were 6.02 euros. Compared to the 1st quarter of 2013, the average monthly gross wages and salaries increased 7.3% and the average hourly gross wages and salaries increased 6.9%.
According to Statistics Estonia, in 2010, the average monthly gross wages and salaries were 792 euros (12,397 kroons) and the hourly gross wages and salaries were 4.78 euros (74.84 kroons). Compared to 2009, the average monthly gross wages and salaries were by 1.1% higher and the average hourly gross wages and salaries were by 0.4% lower.
According to Statistics Estonia, in the 2nd quarter of 2013, the average monthly gross wages and salaries were 976 euros and the average hourly gross wages and salaries were 5.71 euros. Compared to the 2nd quarter of the previous year, the average monthly gross wages and salaries grew 8.5% and the average hourly gross wages and salaries 8.1%. The yearly growth of the average monthly wages and salaries in the 2nd quarter was to some extent faster than in the 1st quarter.
According to Statistics Estonia, the unemployment rate declined to 8.1% in the 2nd quarter of 2013. The number of the long-term unemployed decreased remarkably.
According to Statistics Estonia, according to preliminary data, in 2012 the production of industrial enterprises remained on the level of the previous year. Export increased, but the sales on the domestic market decreased.
